Intentional Photography Membership

There are three different membership track options to learn photography with Intentional Photography. No matter where you are begin, either membership will help to elevate your photography skills, awareness of the world around you and building a portfolio of beautiful images that you enjoy creating and sharing. 

Basic Membership

The Basic Membership includes Two new lessons per month.

The lessons in this membership will be constructed around topics in composition, lighting and basic camera controls that are delivered through simple and practical exercises.

The Basic Membership is ideal for a novice photographer to begin and enhance their understanding and skill set. It is designed to increase proficiency and intentionality in any photographic practice.

The bi-monthly lessons will alternate between two modules; Visual Techniques and Camera Techniques.

Visual Techniques provides practical lessons that include but are not limited to composition, design theory, perspective, spacial awareness and visual intentionality. The objective is to increase awareness of how we perceive our world and translate it into a 2-D photographic medium.

Camera Techniques, provides practical lessons that include but are not limited to exposure, lighting, camera modes, and lenses. The objective of this course is to increase technical proficiency and understanding of operating a DSLR and smart phone camera in order to enhance creative output.


Advanced Membership

Intentional Photography Advanced Membership includes Four New lessons per month.

The Advanced Membership is ideal for any novice, intermediate or experienced photographer that is looking to take their photography to a much deeper level and grow their practice and artistic vision. It is designed to increase proficiency and intentionality, no matter what your previous experience may be.

The Advanced Membership begins at a foundational level (for every member) and expands in depth and technical proficiency over time, as you continue your membership and photography practice.

The bi-monthly lessons will alternate between four modules; Visual Techniques, Camera Techniques, Social Techniques and Artist Techniques.

Visual Technique, provides practical lessons that include but are not limited to composition, design theory, perspective, spacial awareness and visual intentionality. The objective is to increase awareness of how we perceive our world and translate it into a 2-D photographic medium.

Social Techniques, provides practical lessons in categories of communication and connection. This includes but is not limited to, social media, publications, fine art, and portfolio development. Lessons are crafted around the continuing conversation and questioning of our societal and personal development around the photographic image, and how we contribute and consume.

Artist Techniques, provides practical lessons that include but are not limited to thematic project development, portfolio curation, artist statements, mixed mediums, history of photography, and crafting a personal photographic vision.

Creative Membership

Intentional Photography Creative Membership includes Two New lessons per month.

The Creative Membership is ideal for any novice, intermediate or experienced photographer that is looking for inspiration and assignments that focus on the expression and artistry in their photography. It is designed to deliver projects focused on developing creative expression and a personal vision with photography.

The Creative Membership helps individuals find innovative solutions by exploring conceptual ideas and assignments. Each week you will receive actionable lesson that will expand your awareness of photography around you and development of your own personal style.
